Responsibilities:
The Project Completion Engineer HVAC is responsible for managing and overseeing completion and commissioning activities for HVAC systems and mechanical interfaces, including planning, preparation, execution, and handover to Operation/Plant Integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing schedules, cost inputs, and commissioning activities, including planning, execution, and handover.
- Ensure safe working routines during commissioning to comply with client safety regulations, aiming for zero incidents, injuries, and losses.
- Help form a competent commissioning team for the SAS systems.
- Develop and write commissioning procedures for specific systems.
- Maintain commissioning boundary documentation to support efficient construction and commissioning schedules.
- Oversee commissioning activities in all phases to ensure safe and efficient execution.
- Provide training and development for personnel within the commissioning organization.
- Participate in MC verification of equipment and packages to achieve Ready for Commissioning status and ensure a smooth transfer from Construction to Commissioning.
- Follow up on punch work in the field and manage punch list documentation and clearance.
- Ensure drawings/documents are updated with changes identified during commissioning, and that as-built documentation is accurately updated by the contractor.
- Transfer experience to and from other relevant projects and the base organization.
- Identify and manage risks and opportunities related to commissioning.
- Evaluate and verify commissioning procedures and work instructions, ensuring they are well understood by relevant personnel.
- Assess design provisions for commissioning.
- Maintain effective relationships with contractors and operations.
- Manage and supervise commissioning activities.
- Oversee the handover of the facility to Operation by issuing Technical Acceptance Certificates (TAC) and Ready for Operation Certificates (RFOC).
- Contribute to developing strategies, budgets, plans/schedules, procedures, routines, ATS requirements, FAT, UFAT, RISK, and work processes for commissioning.
- Execute commissioning according to client governing documents.
- Identify and propose necessary temporary measures for commissioning execution.
- Recommend Commissioning SPIR.
- Participate in engineering and construction meetings to ensure effective commissioning task execution.

Required Expertise:
- University degree or equivalent.
- Results- and safety-oriented.

- Capability to drive activities to completion on schedule.
- Ability to establish good relations with contractors.
