Duration: 2 years
Language: Norwegian is preferred, but not mandatory.
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant fields.
Competence and Experience:
- At least 8 years of relevant engineering experience in modification projects, preferably with Equinor as a client.
- Experience as a discipline lead within the instrument discipline.
- Proven ability to work independently on multi-discipline modification projects, with responsibility for detailed engineering of instrument systems.
- Offshore experience, including surveys, is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of Equinor’s requirements, specifications, and working methodologies.
- Broad knowledge and experience in the field (understanding of design and engineering of instrumentation and associated control systems) is highly desirable.
Tasks:
- Lead discipline-specific deliveries in bids, studies, and execution projects.
- Estimate and plan the scope of work within the discipline.
- Develop design documents and technical solutions for field instrumentation.
- Prepare and deliver technical documentation in line with customer requirements and specifications, and update customer databases with relevant metadata.
- Set up job specifications and prepare work documents for installation.
- Specify and procure necessary materials, bulk items, and packages.
- Serve as the package manager for instrumentation purchases and provide technical follow-up with equipment suppliers.
- Collaborate with other disciplines within the project and maintain communication with the client.

- Desirable: Microstation, Equinor systems (STID, Procosys, SAP, ARIS), Febdok
Offshore Certificate: Preferred but not required.
Other: Seeking an individual who can both maintain an overview and execute detailed work in projects.
Courses: Must have valid EX and FSE certifications.
