Job Responsibilities:

We are seeking a proficient electrical engineer to join a significant EPC onshore project. The ideal candidate will become part of a major greenfield and integration project, with opportunities to enhance their electrical engineering skills.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Serve as a coordinator between Engineering in Asker, the Modification team in Haugesund, fabrication, and the site.
  • Address technical inquiries from the installation team.
  • Participate in meetings between the fabrication and engineering teams.
  • Support the site support team manager in facilitating smooth communication between various parties and resolving any misunderstandings.
  • Interface with other disciplines, the client, the existing plant, other contractors, and suppliers.
  • Coordinate electrical engineering changes.

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Technical College education, combined with at least 4 years of relevant experience.
  • FSE course.
  • Ex course.

Required Work Experience:

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in electrical engineering within greenfield NCS projects.
  • At least 3 years of experience with Electrical Site Coordination responsibilities in greenfield projects.
  • Extensive knowledge of electrical and cable design, mechanical completion, and installation in accordance with standards like NORSOK, ISO, ATEX, and IEC.
  • Detailed knowledge of Equinor’s technical requirements (TRs).
