Job Description:

As a Completion Engineer for the Skarv Asset, you will be responsible for performing technical engineering tasks for the planning and execution of the Skarv FPSO subsea wells.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver accurate and timely drilling and well engineering outputs to ensure safe and reliable operations.
• Create Statement of Requirements (SOR).
• Develop Basis of Design documents for tubing stress/tubing design, fluids, material evaluations, etc.
• Develop and manage the Risk Register.
• Implement lessons learned from suppliers, other operators, and within the company.
• Drive continuous improvement during planning and operations.
• Prepare Completion Programs.
• Develop and manage AFE budgets.
• Support ongoing operations, both onshore and offshore.
• Participate in relevant morning calls and RAP meetings.
• Engage in drilling engineering duty work, onshore and offshore, if applicable.
• Prepare well handover documentation.
• Compile the final well report.

Required Expertise:

• Minimum M.Sc. degree or equivalent in scientific disciplines.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in completion and well planning/operations.
• Experience with completion software packages is a plus (WellCat, Completion String Design, Prosper, Torque and Drag).
