Duties and Responsibilities:
- Execute procurement activities according to regulations, policies, plans, and agreements.
- Establish negotiation strategies to minimize risk.
- Search for and evaluate alternative suppliers of equipment, materials, and services.
- Prepare ITT documents and perform tender evaluations and negotiations.
- Establish the form of contract.
- Process purchase requisitions authorized by engineering.
- Serve as the single point of contact for commercial discussions with suppliers.
- Work closely with PRE, fabrication coordinator, QHSE, cost control, and other internal stakeholders.
- Follow up on procurement reporting and ensure a clear formal audit trail.
- Coordinate supplier quality surveillance.
- Ensure timely delivery of all documentation.
- Process VORs from suppliers, managing risk, interface, budget, reporting, and approvals.
- Close out procurement packages, including final account and lessons learned activities.
- Handle additional tasks as delegated by Project Managers and Project Procurement Managers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in relevant subjects is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Solid knowledge of contracting and procurement is required.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, is a plus.
