Job Responsibilities:

• Develop system design philosophy/design basis for HVAC systems, focusing on functional requirements, control philosophy, and operational philosophy.
• Coordinate and follow up on HVAC system design and area design.
• Design ductwork.
• Calculate air flow rates based on ventilation requirements and heat emissions.
• Perform cooling calculations.
• Select HVAC equipment considering capacity and feasibility.
• Prepare technical inquiries for HVAC equipment and bulk materials.
• Serve as the Package Responsible Engineer.
• Ensure coordination of HVAC design with other disciplines.

Required Education:

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.

Required Work Experience:

• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in HVAC system design or HVAC PRE in the oil & gas industry, preferably on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.

Required Qualifications:

• Ability to work independently and thoroughly, as well as in a team.
• Good communication skills.
• High loyalty to deadlines and quality requirements.
• Proactive attitude, seeking advice, sharing experiences, and being a good colleague.
• Experience with PDMS/E3D and offshore surveys is an advantage.
