Responsibilities:
- Ensure proper receipt and installation of equipment on site. If storage is required, ensure equipment is stored correctly and preserved as needed.
- Support installation preparation by providing necessary information from Hitachi to the site organization.
- Ensure risk assessments are completed before starting any job.
- Verify that installations comply with engineering documentation.
- Ensure work meets SAFER requirements.
- Follow up on site queries, clarifications, and changes, and communicate with the engineering back office.
- Provide engineering feedback, including mark-ups.
- Attend weekly engineering and construction meetings.
- Establish site routines to ensure compliance with the project redline process.
- Conduct quality checks of electrical installations and resolve issues on site.
- Ensure MC packages are prioritized according to the commissioning plan.
- Record and clear punch items before handover to commissioning.
- Participate in testing and preparation for testing, and assist in commissioning activities if needed.
Required Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience. Relevant work experience may compensate for lack of formal education.
- Active, self-driven, solution-oriented, and able to work collaboratively with the contractor.
- Team player with HSSEQ experience.
- Knowledge of Mechanical Completion systems, such as PIMS CMS.
Reporting Structure:
This position will be part of the Technical Management organization but will also report to the Construction Manager.
