Job Description:

We are seeking a Commissioning Engineer Controls for our office in Stavanger, with the position expected to relocate to Stord as the project progresses.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to project forecasts, schedules, and cost estimates associated with the commissioning scope for relevant SAS Systems.
  • Provide SAS input and advice for overall completion strategy and planning.
  • Manage contractors and other resources providing services and materials or equipment for SAS System Commissioning.
  • Collaborate with relevant disciplines and package teams, providing SAS knowledge and participation in:
    • Witnessing contractor/supplier tests (FAT/SAT) as needed.
    • Developing, reviewing, and implementing commissioning procedures.
    • Executing the commissioning scope.
  • Ensure a smooth transition from project to operations.
  • Lead and coordinate the commissioning test team at the site(s) during dynamic commissioning.
  • Participate in pre-start-up and performance test reviews when necessary.
  • Establish completion and handover strategy and documentation early in projects to support efficient commissioning and handover to operations at the project’s end.

Required Expertise:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent work experience.
  • Active, self-driven, and solution-oriented, with the ability to work collaboratively with contractors.
  • Team player with HSSEQ experience.
  • Knowledge of Mechanical Completion systems, such as PIMS CMS.

This position will be part of the project Commissioning SAS Team.
